Our Policies

Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement:

I certify that my son or daughter is in good health and physical condition in order to participate in all sports activities, and that it is my sole responsibility to make this determination. I have determined that my son or daughter is sufficiently fit and healthy to participate in these activities.  I also understand that there are inherent risks associated with these activities including but not limited to the risk of serious bodily injury and death caused by my own actions or inactions or the actions or inactions of others participating in these activities, or the risk of heat exhaustion and other environmental and climate conditions.  I voluntarily and knowingly accept and assume all risks associated with my child's participation in these activities and release and waive any and all claims, of any nature or kind whatsoever, arising out of my participation in these activities, against Learn to Pitch NJ, including all their respective officers, employees, contractors, agents and representatives.  I further agree to save and hold harmless and indemnify Learn to Pitch NJ and The County of Bergen from all liability, loss, costs, claims or damages of any nature or kind whatsoever that may be asserted against them arising out of my child's participation in these activities, including all attorneys’ fees that they may incur in the event of any claims that may be asserted against them.

Weather:

In the event of a cancellation due to weather, we will reach out to you once a decision has been made. If you do not hear from us, then the camp/lesson will run as scheduled. In the event of a full cancellation, you will have the choice between receiving a refund or credit for another camp/lesson. In the event that we have to stop a camp or lesson midway due to weather, refund/credit will be given if half of the camp/lesson was not completed. If we were able to complete more than half the clinic, refund/credit will not be offered.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your attendance at a camp or lesson, you must notify us at least 72 hours in advance to receive credit. Refunds will not be given for cancellations (aside from injury or illness). Private lessons cancelled more than 24 hours before the start time are entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the start time are not subject to refund. Credit will not be given for private lesson cancellations.

Payment:

Upon submitting a camp or private lesson sign-up form, you will be prompted with a secure link for payment. We currently offer the option to pay with PayPal, Venmo, and credit/debit card. All camp/lesson payments are due at the time of form submission, and we cannot reserve lesson times or any spots in camps until payment is received.

Equipment:

Players are expected to bring their own baseball equipment (i.e. helmet, bat, batting gloves, glove, etc.). If you have any questions about the type of equipment your child should be using, feel free to reach out to us at jpaton1717@gmail.com.
