Listed below are some of the highlights of my European baseball career.
Russia Wins Prague Baseball Week 2020
October 7th, 2020
Russia won the Prague Baseball Week 2020 this past weekend. They defeated the Czech national team 9-5 in the championship game on Saturday. The Czech team had won all three games prior to the final including a 10-5 victory over Russia. Russia went 2-1 in the preliminary phase to reach the final.

RusStar Moscow First-Time Baseball Champions of Russia
August 31st, 2020
The Russian National Baseball Championship came to an end on Saturday with RusStar Moscow becoming champions for the first time following a 5-1 win over the Moscow Wolves in the best-of-nine Finals Series. Moskvich finished third.

The Finals started on August 22. Moscow Wolves took the lead in the series with a 3-2 victory. However, RusStar came back with four consecutive wins (11-4, 11-6, 8-1 and 16-5). Despite the best efforts made by the Wolves and the National Team pitcher Andrei Lobanov, RusStar closed the series at the home stadium taking a 5-2 win.

Euro Qualifiers Day 4 (Moscow): Paton, Ilyin No-Hit Turkey; Switzerland Blasts Slovenia
July 3rd, 2021
MOSCOW — Russia and Switzerland scored lop-sided victories over Turkey and Slovenia, respectively, with the host nation clinching a spot in the qualifier championship with a 24-0 combined no-hitter by James Paton and Uladidzlav Ilyin. With its spot in the final now secure, Russia awaits either Belarus or Switzerland for the right to return to the European Championship. The latter blasted its fellow alpine nation, 25-4, out-homering the slugging Russians for the day as well.
